Max Speed: 27.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise)

about mid-day the rain cleared and the wind warmed for a short session. I rigged 6m and was well powered up; at times the 5,2m would have been fine. Some good blasts in and out and I pointed up to sail in the cob bay where the wind was sronger. The wind picked up too much and I did not fancy sailing by myself and changing down so packed up after an hour. Well worth it.
I used a 34cm fin which is smaller than usual, and kept the mast foot forward; that seemed to help with pointing despite the smaller fin. I got spin out several times but not too bad.
Average speed over about an hour was 15.3knots whch I was please with and only fell in on two gybes at the end when the wind was too much!
